Parenting By Nature approached Limelite PR to increase online brand awareness and keep the company ‘top-of-mind’ when mom consumers look for natural parenting products (cloth diapers, slings, eco toys). The company credited previous online PR activities (conducted in the USA) to maintaining sales during an economic downturn and thus emphasized their dedication to implementing innovative and engaging campaigns.

Within five months of working together, the company experienced a growth in sales, with the national media campaign generating coverage in Sweet Mama, yoyomama, Savvy Mom, and Calgary’s Child Magazine.
The Mom Blogger Ambassador contest generated 4,000+ impressions with 43 feature blog posts (contest entries), over 1000 comment impressions and tweets, a doubling of the PBN social media fan base (Twitter followers & Facebook fans), and generating over 700 individual votes for the finalists. The Video Contest entries generated over 7,500 views with the winning "Cloth Wow" video attracting 2,440 views. The Virtual Holiday Potluck generated a phenomenal growth (146% to 257% above average) in page activity, visits, and active users.

Each year, we develop a 12-month Action Plan that focuses on creating a framework for BN’s traditional and social media activities. This plan has included:

• an editorial calendar for the corporate blog
• purchasing of Facebook ads
• a mom blogger - brand partnership program
• ongoing national media relations campaigns
• the creation of signature campaigns including a Mom Blogger Ambassador Contest (Blog 2 Inspire), a Video Contest (Why Cloth Diapers), a Facebook event (Virtual Holiday Potluck, in conjunction with yoyomama.ca).
